We borrow a tenet from the technology space (blockchain) of a "Proof of Stake" system where every participant has some kind of stake (deposit) to protect the system from errant behaviours because they can be penalized by forcefully forfeiting their stake (deposit). This system creates a common aligned incentive for all participants.
With StakedWork, our service partners have a stake (deposit) liable to be forfeited through arbitration should the consumer bring up a claim against them. Furthermore, their amount of stake is openly published, signalling how much they are committed to bringing you the best service possible. As they say - "put your money where your mouth is". Their "number of stars" is now replaced by "how much their stake is".
